POF News from Korea
Thomas Schmocker of iTec reports that a POF test bed has been funded by the Korean Government uner the patronage of Korean Telecom (KT). This is demonstatable proof of a concept trial. More details to follow. No organization of the POF indusry has been estalished yet in Korea but something may develop later this year. iTec has announced at OFC, a set of POF Ethernet components including a switch, links and media converter.
